I would like to say how impressed I have been with Patty Walker your Senior Property Manager.  I have always managed my own properties in the past as I haven’t found an agent I could work with, and was able to use agents to find a tenant then let me manage them.  Now things have changed. I have a rental property that the tenant was being evicted and so I needed an agent to find a new tenant.  I rang around the real estate agents but most seemed to only be interested in the number of properties I had, not doing any work for me. Patty was very different, we seemed to both be on the same wavelength. She has really helped me with information/advice in relation to the evicted tenant, and has also been helping me with the renovations required to be done before a new tenant can move in.  I think most people think she is mad to take on such a job so close to Christmas. She has gone way over what I thought an agent would do for me even to offering to buy new curtains for me!  I will certainly recommend her to anyone I know and have in fact posted comments on Somersoft Property Investors Forum as one person wanted an agent in that area.

Johanna Dougherty commenced employment with my real estate office, Greenacres Realty in December 2000, and completed her employment in March 2006 when I retired and closed the office. Johanna was originally employed as the Office Receptionist, providing support and assistance to three agents conducting sales and property management. Johanna was also involved with property sales during this time. Johanna’s professional attitude was reflected in her success as an excellent Property Manager and in property sales. Johanna’s role as Property Manager saw her represent Greenacres Realty in Small Claims Tribunal and responsible for the collection of outstanding debts incurred. Both responsibilities were efficiently and resourcefully undertaken, to my complete satisfaction. During any times I was to be away from the office over a period of days, Johanna would assume all financial and professional responsibilities on my behalf. In one instance, due to a family emergency, Johanna was solely responsible for the management of the business, and I had no concern with her ability or dependability, and was confident that Johanna would continue to conduct herself in the professional and trustworthy manner she had consistently displayed. However, I consider Johanna’s greatest attributes to be her loyalty, honesty and integrity in all professional dealings. Johanna is always well presented and has a friendly and open personality, which is a great asset to her in the real estate industry. I would have no hesitation in recommending Johanna for any role she was seeking, both within and outside of the real estate industry, and believe she is a valuable asset to any business.

I first became acquainted with Johanna in November 2002 when I purchased a property in River Hills Rd, Eagleby, which had been advertised by Greenacres Real Estate, a local agency. The property consisted of 8 brick and tile cottages, some 7 or 8 years old, constructed on a 5000 square meter block. It was a fair sized property and consequently there were a considerable number of enquiries, formalities, inspections and the like to be accomplished prior to settlement on December 9th 2002. As we proceeded into this process it became increasingly obvious that the motivating force in the Agency was Johanna, the Office Manager. Subsequent to completion my Solicitors commented on her efficiency, the expedience with which she conducted the Agency’s affairs and also the fact that it had been a positive pleasure to work with her. In the years that followed the agency managed the property for me and we became not merely business associates but in due course, I like to think, good friends. The properties were at first all tenanted and Johanna presided over the operation, which included several tenancy changes, with great aplomb and to my perfect satisfaction. She was meticulous in her selection of tenants and we had virtually zero problems with her choices. However in due course I began to sell off the cottages one by one and it was here that Johanna’s advice and guidance were invaluable. She presided over the sales with a piercing eye for potential trouble makers, a most important skill in these multiple dwelling situations where personalities can present large scale problems when they get out of hand. In due course 5 out of the 8 cottages were sold off and I retain 3 as in investment. These sales evidenced the fact that Johanna has an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of Real Estate in all its many facets. She handled the sales seemingly effortlessly and again to me and my solicitors total satisfaction. Sadly the owner of the Agency decided to move it from Eagleby to Marsden and consequently we parted company. However in conclusion I would like to comment that in a long life of dealing with Real Estate investments I have never met her peer in the pursuit of this most demanding profession........She is a gem........I am available for and further comment or enlargement which might be required.
